More Life Adventures, a fitness, travel, and adventure company based in the UK, wanted to define its sustainability narrative and strategy in the face of an increasingly scrutinised sector. Our client sought a partner to develop a brand-specific strategy and messaging and define priorities for action.
In an industry faced with a variety of sustainability challenges, we developed messaging that defined More Life Adventures’ sustainability ambitions and highlighted its goals and current good practices without overclaiming.
Working with the company’s founder, we confirmed its key areas of sustainability focus and impact. We translated these into a sustainability message house with an overarching vision supported by three thematic pillars, then adapted this into a more detailed sustainability roadmap. We included supporting data on the wider context and impact of the travel sector to provide a backdrop for key issues. Together with the company’s founder and communications specialist, we devised realistic yet stretching goals for each pillar. The resulting roadmap clearly defines priorities and goals that are both practical and impactful, such as waste and greenhouse gas reduction, engaging with local communities, and supporting guests to live more sustainably.
